Shutter style
Tracked Shutters
For openings that are too wide for standard hinged shutters, tracked systems slide panels along a top track. Ideal for bi-fold and patio doors, and for walls of glass in extensions and orangeries.

Best suited to
- · Bi-fold doors
- · Patio and French doors
- · Wide living-space openings
- · Room dividers
How they operate
Panels glide sideways on a headrail. Some configurations stack to one side; bypass tracks let panels pass in front of each other for very wide spans.
Ideal for homeowners who
- · Extensions and open-plan renovations
- · Homes with sliding or bi-fold doors
Advantages
- · Covers spans that hinged shutters cannot
- · Doubles as a soft room divider between open-plan spaces
- · Panels move smoothly without floor tracks
Worth knowing
- · Head fixings must be sturdy — we advise on this at survey
- · Configuration depends on the opening width and how you want panels to stack
