How shutters are measured and fitted, step by step
Shutters are a made-to-measure product, so most of the quality is decided before anything is manufactured. This is exactly how we run a job.

1. Free home survey
We come to you, measure every opening, check squareness, sill depths, handles, radiators and reveal condition, and talk through styles with samples in your own light. Usually 30–60 minutes depending on how many windows you're considering.
2. Written quote
You get a clear written quotation covering survey, manufacture, delivery and installation, with the current lead time stated. No obligation, no pressure call afterwards.
3. Templating and order
Once you're happy we re-check critical measurements and template anything shaped or angled, then place the order with our trade manufacturing partners and confirm colour, louvre size, frame type and hardware in writing.
4. Installation day
Our own fitters install — never sub-contracted. Frames go in, panels are hung and adjusted, hardware is set, and everything is cleaned down and taken away with us. Most homes are done in a day.
5. Aftercare
Timber and composite move slightly as a house settles through its first seasons. If a panel needs adjusting, we come back. You're dealing with the same local family business that measured the job.
